DESCRIPTION:Discover your inner clown through movement\, play\, and presence in this joyful\, all-levels workshop with Timothy Edward.\n\n\nThis immersive\, joy-filled workshop invites participants of all ages to connect with their inner clown—not by performing\, but by being present\, playful\, and open to the beautiful chaos of the moment. Led by professional mime and clown specialist Timothy Edward\, you’ll discover how to be affected by the world around you\, embrace failure\, and let go of control through physical comedy\, imagination\, and honest reaction. \nWhat to Expect:Through a carefully crafted sequence of exercises\, you’ll explore clowning as a practice of presence and discovery. Activities include: \n🎭 Movement & Warm-Up Games – Get out of your head and into your body with exaggerated stretching\, silly walks\, and group mirroring. \n🎈 Clown Discovery Exercises – Learn to interact with invisible objects and imaginary walls\, reacting physically before intellectually. \n👀 Audience Connection – Discover how the clown emerges in relationship to others. Feel what happens when you wave\, pause\, listen\, and let the audience guide you. \n🎪 The Clown’s Struggle – Tackle hilariously small problems with big reactions. Work in solos\, duos\, and trios to explore the humor of failure and effort. \n🤡 Solo Clown Moments – Step into the spotlight for spontaneous play\, supported by the group’s energy and real-time feedback. \n🪞 Final Reflection & The Clown’s Bow – Reflect on your discoveries\, share what surprised you\, and take your final bow in true clown fashion—grandly\, bashfully\, or completely upside-down. \nThis Workshop Is For: \n\nPerformers looking to deepen their stage presence\nEducators\, facilitators\, or creatives wanting to unlock new modes of expression\nAnyone curious about clowning\, play\, or physical storytelling\nHumans who want to laugh\, move\, and be delightfully ridiculous for a couple of hours\n\nWhat You’ll Leave With:A stronger connection to your physical presence\, a new relationship with failure and fun\, and a deeper understanding of the honest\, reactive nature of clowning. \n✨ Come as you are. No clown noses required. Just bring your body\, your curiosity\, and a willingness to be affected by the moment. \n🎟 Reserve your spot today—space is limited\, and the red nose waits for no one.

In addition to teaching\, Tiffani hosts art events that foster connection and creative exploration\, believing that art can bring people closer to understanding themselves and the world around them. \n  \nThough Tiffani has taken formal art courses in college\, much of their artistic journey has been shaped by self-teaching and a deep desire to experiment with new techniques and mediums. This independent approach allows for a constantly evolving practice that remains fresh and inspired. \n  \nTiffani’s work has been featured at various Chicago venues\, including Fulton Street Collective\, Royal Grocer & Co.\, the Pilsen Art Walk\, and Around The Coyote\, contributing to the city’s vibrant arts community. \n  \nThrough each piece\, Tiffani aims to evoke emotions\, provoke thought\, and remind viewers of the beauty and depth in both the ordinary and the extraordinary.
