LIVE JAZZ in CHICAGO at FULTON STREET COLLECTIVE
Fulton Street Collective has earned a reputation as one of the top spots in Chicago to experience live jazz.
Brick walls adorned with ever-changing high quality art from our artist collective is complemented by an impressive 50 foot ceiling and 15 feet windows that look out onto gorgeous view of industrial Chicago.
Visual artists love the aesthetics of the room for showcasing their art, and jazz performers rave about the room’s sound quality. Tickets are by suggested donation and are always reasonably priced. Guests can count on their money going directly to artists and to an organization consistently on the side of the artist and working to enhance the musical landscape of Chicago.
The music curation team is led by Chris Anderson who has deep roots in Chicago jazz. He was the primary booking agent at Evanston’s Nevin’s Live and served as General Manager to Chicago’s famed Green Mill Tavern for more than a decade. He was recently awarded the Irma Pickens Outstanding Jazz Advocate Award by the Jazz Institute of Chicago in honor of his many contributions to the world of music and culture.
During the pandemic, Chris and his team have led the nation in producing live jazz and broadcasting it almost nightly via Fulton Street Collective’s youtube channel. This has allowed the world to get to know Fulton Street Collective’s commitment to jazz and its players. The constant programming of live jazz kept Chicago jazz musicians busy and employed during the lean months of shutdown and limited indoor gatherings.
