Experience an unforgettable two nights of gorgeous and thought-provoking visual art with live music from Chicago’s top up-and-coming jazz musicians.
The Jazz Institute of Chicago proudly presents “Dear Jazz 2023,” a two-night celebration of art and music that will captivate audiences at the beautiful Fulton Street Collective gallery, located at 1821 W. Hubbard Street in Chicago. This extraordinary event, taking place on November 3 and 4, 2023, will showcase the talents of 20 of Chicago’s most revered artists, who have found inspiration in the timeless genre of jazz. All artwork will be for sale.
Live jazz performances by the Karli Bunn Quartet and the Alvin Cobb Jr. Quartet will accompany the artistic presentations, along with live painting during the concerts, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
FRIDAY, November 3rd:
5:30PM: VIP/Art Collector’s Reception. Suggested Donation of $20, includes drinks, snacks, and live jazz from Robert Irving III.
7PM: General Admission, Suggested Donation of $5 advance, $10 at the door.
8PM: Concert featuring Karli Bunn Quartet, with live painting.
SATURDAY, November 4th
6PM: JIC Members-only Hour, Suggested Donation of $5, includes drinks, snacks, and live jazz from Robert Irving III.
7PM: General Admission, Suggested Donation of $5 advance, $10 at the door.
8PM: Concert featuring Alvin Cobb Jr. Quartet, with live painting.
LIVE PAINTING WITH ACCOMPANY EACH CONCERT.
All proceeds will benefit the Jazz Institute of Chicago, an organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich jazz heritage of the city.
