Fulton Street Collective presents a two-set performance with Sam Pilnick’s Nonet Project, releasing its first album, “The Adler Suite” on Outside in Music’s ‘Next Level’ label on Thursday, July 8th
The evening will also feature live painting from visual artist TBA.
“The “Adler Suite” aims to explore and honor the scientific advancements, explorations and wonders of outer space that we all experience while at the Adler Planetarium in downtown Chicago. The suite features compositions that sonically explore various exhibits and concepts displayed at the Adler Planetarium: the Gemini 12 Spacecraft, Revolving Dwarf planets, far away star systems and our ever expanding universe. The Nonet Project was awarded a 2020 Chicago Department of Culture and Special Events Arts Grant to assist in creating and releasing this album.”
