Bassist and composer Andrew Vogt debuts his long awaited full-length album “Awakening,” in conjunction with his annual celebration of narrowly avoiding Malort poisoning.

Chicago based composer Andrew Vogt has written original pieces and arrangements for the all-female led ATLYS String Quartet, EDM artist Seven Lions, ska/punk band Streetlight Manifesto, 80’s hit machine Tom Kelly and the electric jazz ensemble Bonzo Squad. Vogt’s music has been performed across the world, featured in full length movies and his collaborations amass to over 24 hours worth of music (over 30 albums) on Spotify. His voice fuses elements of American jazz harmony, Eastern folk odd meters and modern electronic writing techniques.
