Altin Sencalar is nationally recognized as a leading figure for Jazz Trombone as he currently hails in the nations Jazz Capital; New York City. Not only has Altin earned his stripes through performances with artists and ensembles such as: Michael Buble, The Dizzy All Star Big Band, Christian McBride Big Band, Ulysses Owens Jr. Big Band, David Sanborn Quintet and more — Altin is a Posi-Tone recording artist who’s currently preparing to release his 6th major record entitled “Unleashed“. While Altin has a longstanding history on the bandstand as a performer, he’s also paving the way for the next generation of aspiring jazz musicians through his multiple professorships including: San Fransisco Conservatory of Music, Missouri State University, and Iona University.
