Francisco Velazquez

Francisco Velazquez

Biographical Info I see art as a way of placing ideas into an artistic form so that others can connect with them. The work begins with something internal—an observation, question, experience, or way of seeing—and transforms it into something that can exist outside of me. The goal isn’t necessarily to tell someone what to think. It’s to create a form that gives another person an opportunity to recognize something of their own within it, even if they interpret it differently than I intended. For me, art becomes a kind of meeting point between the artist and the viewer: an idea made visible, where connection can happen through interpretation.
