The evening will feature live painting from visual artist

Guitarist and composer José Gobbo returns with his second trio album, Confluence, a collection of six original compositions that showcase the remarkable musical telepathy developed by Gobbo, bassist Max Beckman, and drummer Jay Ferguson over hundreds of performances since their formation in 2022. Following their acclaimed 2024 debut Current, this new release finds the trio operating with even greater confidence and daring, their sophisticated harmonic language and interactive approach yielding music that is, in Gobbo’s words, “accessible-but-not-dumbed-down, and intellectual-but-not-snobby.”
