Marc Kelly Smith is the creator and founder of the international

poetry slam movement.for which he has been inducted into L’ordre des

Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. He has hosted

the legendary Uptown Poetry Slam at the Green Mill Jazz Lounge for

over three decades and has performed all over the world.

_Ground Zero_ was published during the Covid pandemic so this is a

Belated Book Release Celebration. Marc will performed selections from

the book and be joined by pianist Matt Conway.
