FSC presents Heisenberg Uncertainty Players Big Band celebrating the 50th anniversary of Wings’ 1975 album “Venus And Mars” Tuesday June 17

The night will feature live painting from visual artist TBA

Heisenberg Uncertainty Players – a jazz big band performing exclusively original compositions and arrangements by John Dorhauer – celebrates the 50th anniversary of Wings’ 1975 album “Venus And Mars” with this one-of-a-kind performance. As Wings’ follow-up to their massively successful 1973 album “Band on the Run”, “Venus And Mars” proved that Wings had tremendous staying power, and it features Paul McCartney’s signature blend of eclectic styles and beautifully crafted melodies. HUP has adapted the album as one entire continuous suite, and the second set will feature original compositions.

HUP is:
Director/Composer: John Dorhauer
Saxes: Natalie Lande, Kelley Dorhauer, Sam Pilnick, Matt Zmuda, James Baum
Trumpets: Grace Mulvey, Jon McQuade, Bennett Heinz, Emily Kuhn
Trombones: Michael Nearpass, Josh Torrey, Andrew Meyer, Dan DiCesare
Guitar: Chris Parsons
Piano: Stu Seale
Bass: Dan Parker
Drums: Ethan Bouwsma
