Fulton Street Collective is full of vibrant energy and artists who dive deep into what it means to create abstract artwork. In Praise of Color is an exhibition designed to celebrate and explore those creative expressions. Our group show this August aims to bring together our community and celebrate summer with color.A note from our curator, Michael Barr:”Color has an infinite power unto itself. It can shock or calm; heighten or soothe the nerves. In Praise of Color invites the viewer to experience color in its raw form. Through abstraction, the artist frees color from worldly constraints, allowing it to speak for itself. Whether excited or subdued, each piece in this show embodies a powerful expression of color.
