The evening will feature live painting from visual artist TBA.

The Illinois Honors Jazz Combo was directed by Marques this year at the Illinois Music Educators convention in Peoria. Marques was blown away by the young talent these high school musicians possessed. This group displays the top Jazz musicians among high school students who have dedicated their life to the exploration and expansion of Jazz music. They will be opening for Marques’s quintet as he showcases new music from his next studio album to be released in 2026 along with his four live albums.
